In view of the shifts and transformations which we observe in the corporate marketplace, employability is an essential criterium, playing an important role in the assessment of universities. Students and parents want to know that the often-high costs of a degree-level education will lead to a beneficial outcome when it comes to stepping onto, and climbing, the career ladder.
Employability is also a tool for universities who need to refine their curriculum, with the aim to successfully educate their future graduates and stay competitive in a changing world.
Now in its 13th year, the annual Global Employability University Ranking and Survey (GEURS), produced by Emerging and published with Times Higher Education (THE), shows which universities are adapting better or faster to the evolutions of the corporate market. The GEURS ranking lists the TOP 250 universities worldwide for employability.
The 2024 survey also points out that increasingly, employers are looking for graduates with strong digital literacy and subject specialism skills.
